Stop eating dairy! Especially cold, out of the fridge, in deserts and in poor combinations with other foods. If you must eat dairy, following the traditional ayurvedic method is best. You must decoct in the milk such herbs as ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper and nutmeg. (Milk is considered to be hard to digest in ayurveda, and these herbs are thought to assist in digestion).
Also, you may be allergic to only the proteins, fats or sugars (milk sugar = lactose. -Henriette). Thus you may be able to eat butter without ill-effect. Or you may be allergic to all three. There are several non-dairy alternatives such as soy milk, almond milk and rice dream. Considering the presence of growth hormones and antibiotics in our milk supply you're better off avoiding it anyway.
