Quinine cacodylate, C₂₀H₂₄N₂O₂(CH₃)₂AsOOH, may be prepared by the interaction of cacodylic acid and quinine, or of suitable salts of these substances. It occurs in the form of acicular crystals, or as a white powder.

Very soluble in water, less soluble in hot water; freely soluble in alcohol.

Action and Uses.—Quinine cacodylate is given with the cacodylates of iron and sodium, in pill form or in solution.

Dose.—15 to 60 milligrams (1/4 to 1 grain).
