This book was written about 100 years ago. Physiology / medicine / chemistry has gone forward a bit, so do take the suggestions with a grain of salt.

Note that this is not the same as Potter's "Handbook of Materia Medica, Pharmacy, and Therapeutics". That is about 730 pages, this only about 240.

Why did I scan this book? I like the intro and the end bits. The rest? A bit too much chemicals and highly poisonous plants, and too much puke, purge, and vesicate. So yes, you need to know your plants before you use this info. And your chemicals, if you're bent that way.
