Preparation.—Prepare a tincture from the leaves, using Alcohol of 30°. Dose gtts. v. to ʒss.
This agent has been but little used, yet we think it worthy of investigation. The line of experiment will be, to determine its influence upon the urinary and reproductive organs—in acute and chronic ulcerations—and its action on the digestive apparatus.
