Passiflora in Insomnia.
I have observed the action of passiflora in the treatment of insomnia. The remedy cannot be used indiscriminately but I have found that where there is an absence of pain, it may be given in the majority of cases to produce quiet and restful sleep.
I add a teaspoonful to half of a glass of water, and give the mixture in teaspoonful doses every half hour before retiring until the patient is quiet. I would advise the physicians who have not used it to try it.
